Sawston Fun Run

The Howard Group and Unity Campus team had the pleasure of attending the Sawston Fun Run Beneficiaries event at Sawston Village College last Wednesday. With a record‑breaking £25,300 raised, this year’s Sawston Fun Run was the most successful ever – bringing the total raised for charities since 1986 to almost £600k.

As joint headline sponsors for the third consecutive year, we saw Katherine Friend, Director of Investment and Asset Management at Howard Group, give a short speech before presenting donation cheques to 24 local charities, including the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity.

A huge thank you to the incredible team at Sawston Rotary Club, along with the hardworking committee members including our Unity Campus Community Engagement Manager Jess Harvey-Bowman, and of course the volunteers and runners, who make this event such a meaningful part of the local community and help raise vital funds for local charities. We look forward to continuing our support for this exceptional fundraising event next year.
