Sawston Fun Run 2026

A HUGE thank you to everyone who ran, volunteered, and supported the Sawston Fun Run yesterday!  What a fantastic day – such events wouldn’t be possible without incredible supporters like YOU! 

This year’s special milestone 40th Anniversary event was our biggest yet, with an incredible 2,017 runners taking part and around 3,000 people enjoying a fantastic day of community fun and fundraising. Since the event began, over £575,000 has been raised for charity up to 2025 – an amazing achievement! Once I learn this year’s fundraising total, I will share this with you – and please look out for updates on the Campus App / UnityNews and LinkedIn page.

A special thank you to our fantastic campus teams from Domainex, Iontas, ViaNautis, Telensa, Maxion, Howard Group, Anglia Security, Smart Cleaning and BaxterStorey for all your support, whether running, volunteering, donating, or cheering everyone on from the sidelines – it was great to see you all!

Congratulations to our campus race winners –  Jamie Shaw for taking 2nd place in the Men’s 17–39 long route category, and Hugh Tawell from Domainex for securing 1st place in the same category! We look forward to watching you battle it out again next year!  If anyone else would like to share their finish place, please do!  Well done to all those who took part – I was with you in spirit and you are ALL winners!
