Howard Group & Unity Campus Work Experience Programme 2026
Investing in future talent is one of the most rewarding things we do at Howard Group and Unity Campus. We recently had the pleasure of welcoming two fantastic work experience students from Sawston Village College who have been an incredible asset to the Howard Group team over two weeks.
During their placement, they assisted with office administration, site and building inspections, Cambridge Wide Open Week – A week of life sciences @ the home of life sciences Open Day 2026, and helped us prepare for unity campus events. They approached every task with enthusiasm, professionalism and a genuine willingness to learn.
One of the highlights of their placement was the opportunity to learn about the history and growth of the Howard family business from our Non-Executive Directors, Gavin Howard and Caroline Bewes. They also gained valuable insights into the science and innovation taking place across Unity Campus through tours and talks with Domainex and Maxion Therapeutics.
Work experience is incredibly valuable for students and employers alike. It takes a team effort to create opportunities that inspire and develop future talent, and it is a fantastic example of the social value that businesses can bring to their communities. Thank you to our two students for all their hard work, enthusiasm and support. We wish them every success with your future studies and careers and look forward to following your journeys in the years ahead.
