Foodbank and Toy Donations
We are incredibly grateful for all the generous food and toy donations made this year for the John Huntingdon Charity (foodbank) and the Sawston Free Church / Salvation Army (toy collection).
We have delivered the food parcels to the team at JHC who were were genuinely thrilled by the scale of our contribution. Trudi, Jill, and the team asked us to pass on their heartfelt thanks to every member, partner, and visitor who donated. With donations running low, your delivery has given a much-needed boost to their Christmas food parcels.
We also delivered five trolley-loads of fantastic toy donations to the Salvation Army’s Cambridge Hub. The team were thrilled, not only by the sheer volume of gifts, but by the quality and thoughtfulness shown by everyone across the Unity Campus community.
These toys will now be wrapped and gifted to children across Cambridge and Sawston in the run-up to Christmas. The Salvation Army will be sending us a message in the new year, along with any photos they’re able to share, and we look forward to passing those on.
Their teams do incredible work year-round, and we’re proud to support them, especially at this time of year.
